The virtual world, which we have developed so dynamically in the 21st century, has given us unlimited access to information and free exchange of ideas. Thanks to the possibility of transmitting sound, image and huge amounts of data, the boundaries of communication have almost disappeared. A natural consequence of this progress has been the transfer of art to the digital sphere and the creation of online art galleries.
The COVID-19 pandemic, which affected almost every country in the world in 2019, has drastically changed our reality. In response to the restrictions in the real world, our social and professional life has moved to the virtual space, using the potential of computers and mobile devices. This has made technology a key bridge between the creator and the recipient.
In response to these changes, the FOR PHOTOGRAPHY Foundation has created a virtual exhibition space for image creators - the 21st Century Gallery. This is a professionally arranged platform dedicated to artists (photographers, graphic designers, painters) that enables the presentation of their work in a modern way. Our gallery facilitates dialogue with recipients and builds relationships with art collectors from all over the world.
The virtual 21st Century Gallery provides unlimited access to art 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To visit the exhibition, you don't have to leave your home. The presented works are at your fingertips - you can walk through the virtual halls and admire the works in full format, adapted to the size of your screen
The 21st Century Gallery consists of 21 individual exhibition spaces. Each of them offers a varied architectural layout and rich wall color scheme, which allows for ideal adaptation of the background to the character of the presented works. There is also a video room available to creators, intended for emitting film materials and interviews with exhibition authors. The system allows for combining smaller galleries into one, extended exhibition, which gives almost unlimited arrangement possibilities.
Eachevery exhibition is accompanied by a digital catalog published by the Foundation, with an individual ISBN number. The volume of the catalog depends on the size of the exhibition. The document is available to visitors in PDF format.
To receive the catalog, simply send an email to the Foundation, providing basic information (name and surname, as well as email address) and the title of the exhibition. In response, we will send you a file with the publication.
